BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Title: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS (1 & 2)

Sequel: E/O BEHIND CLOSED DOORS (1 & 2)

Starring:  Desmond Elliott, Stella Aboderin, Patience Ozokwor

Synopsis:

A couple desperate to have a child gets an offer to have a baby from an unlikely source.

Review:

Oh, if only we could have a baby. This is the one wish Oasis and his wife had in common. But Oasis was sterile and for him adoption was out of the question.

So Oasis’ older brother, Philip, offered to get his wife pregnant. Since Philip was sick and had only a few months left to live, he planned to go to his grave with the secret.

Philip’s proposal was met with much resistance at first but then Oasis and his wife took him up on it only to have their marriage destroyed by the decision.

Let’s Talk. This is a drama. It starts out with a singing performance by Ivie (Stella Aboderin). A few minutes later we see another performance by her. To see back-to-back performances at the top of the movie sends the vibe that this is some sort of music video and it distracted from the story. One performance was more than enough.

Once we finally get into the story it is indeed compelling as we experience the ups and downs of the characters involved.

The acting performances are superb, most notably by Desmond Elliott, who played a conflicted, borderline insane, character. This is drama at it’s finest. RECOMMEND
