Title: TWO HEARTS (1 & 2)

Sequel: TROUBLED HEARTS (1 & 2)

Starring:  Majid Michel, Mercy Johnson

Synopsis:

James and Violet’s lives intermingle when they meet on a lonely road but Voilet’s father has an unhealthy obsession with her that threatens her new friendship with James.

Review:

Violet (Mercy Johnson) met James (Majid Michel) on a remote road near the woods. He was unfriendly with an odd personality yet Violet found herself intrigued.

But they already have people in their lives; James supposedly only had eyes for his girlfriend and Violet had her father, Chief Okaro, who didn;t want to see her with any man.

Both James and Chief Okaro suffered their fair share of psychological issues and Voilet fought demons of her own.

Let’s Talk. “Two Hearts” revolved around incest but wasn’t as raunchy as other films that dealt with this topic. It is a compelling story that was well acted by all.

One notation is an error regarding props. When Esther received the threatening text message, the name “Esther” was displayed as the sender of the message. The name of sender should have appeared as “unlisted”, “anonymous” or just a random phone number because she’s Esther so from a technical standpoint, it looked like Esther sent the text message to herself.

In terms of performances, we’ve got Mercy J and Majid. What more needs to be said? They work really well together.

As for errors, the role of Esther was not listed among the credits. This role was played by Tessy Oragwa.

It’s three thumbs up for “Two Hearts” since two doesn’t quite suffice. RECOMMEND
