Title:  DIE WITH ME (1 – 4)

Synopsis:

Mike and Fred have been friends for their entire lives but life’s circumstances caused Fred to distance himself from the friendship. 

Review:

Mike (Frank Artus) and Fred (James Gardiner) have been inseparable since childhood. Always together, they became known as a duo.

When Fred suffered a loss due to his connection with Mike he became adamant about pursuing his own identity. This threatened their lifelong friendship but as a result Mike reconnected with his family. 

Let’s Talk. “Die With Me” is about true friendship. Mike and Fred developed a bond at childhood and when they became adults they were able to express their adoration for each another, which can be rare among men.

As for comments, this movie could have moved a little faster. By the end of part one the only thing that was established was that Mike and Fred were childhood friends. The heart of the story picked up in parts three and four equating that the story set-up was too long.

It wasn’t clear how or when Fred went from being a police officer to becoming unemployed.  Also, there’s a scene where  Zinel (Nikki Samonas) was so dressed up yet she insisted on riding on a tacky bus. That made no sense.

On the upside, this actually is a good movie. The actors who played young Mike and Fred were just the cutest and appropriately cast.

The performances by James Gardiner and especially Frank Artus were great. By the way, Frank, the word “epitome” is pronounced ih-pitTUH-mee not Eh-pit-TOE-mee. RECOMMEND
